Food is the fuel for our body. ”Jaisa khao Ann waisa hoye Mann” is a popular ancient saying from Sanatan Dharma  in India which says that  the kind of food  one eats  has a major impact on mental and emotional health of an individual. Today; more and more people are realizing this fact and are turning towards inculcating   organic food in their daily life.

The food which is organically grown has immense benefits over conventional food. It is full of antioxidants and free from harmful chemicals such as fungicides, herbicides and pesticides which are widely used in conventional farming and their residues remain in the food we eat. The residues of harmful chemicals have serious effects on health. Some studies have indicated that the use of pesticides even at low dose can increase the risk of certain Cancers such as Leukemia, Lymphoma, Brain Tumors, Breast Cancer and Prostrate Cancer.

Children, Pregnant women and Fetuses are most vulnerable to pesticide exposure because their immune system, bodies and brain are still developing. Exposure at early age may cause developmental delays, behavioral disorders, autism, immune system harm and motor dysfunction.

Today the world is realizing the need of a robust immune system for fighting against ongoing Pandemic: COVID-19. Switching to Organic way of living is your first guard against diseases like Corona and towards building a healthy Body &   Mind.
