Trimukha Ganesha is regarded as the twenty-eighth among the 32 different forms of Ganesha. ?Trimukha? is a combination of two words, ?Tri, and ?Mukha,? Trimukha Ganesha is thus a form with three faces. The three faces of Lord represent the Trimurti or the deities; Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. It?s a unique form of the Lord which encompasses all devas in himself. Prayers to Trimukha Ganesha helps in getting rid of past sins. He also guides a person in this life to attain Moksha (Liberation). Trimukha Ganesha has a meditative face and sits atop a lotus. He has six arms ? one right-hand shows the Ahbhay(protection) mudra and one left hand are in blessing posture, thus giving an assurance to devouts that guilt of sins committed unknowingly is forgiven by Trimukha Ganesha. Constant meditation on this form also helps in alleviating the fear of the future
